Addition and Subtraction introduces students to adding and subtracting numbers up to 10. Topics include:

• Understanding addition & subtraction
• Adding and subtracting with objects
• Taking away and counting back
• Number bonds
• Equations
• Word problems

The book is intended for students already familiar with counting and the numbers 1-10.

The book emphasizes learning by doing. Students with limited reading ability should be able to attempt the exercises. Note that, as the exercises are simple and we’d like to save a few trees, answer sheets are not provided.
